Our contractor redid the ceiling entirely; we added recessed lights, a drum shade over the table and, yes, a fan with a downlight. (No, it doesn’t cool off the food – just the chef….) Then we replaced the dated countertops with granite and installed a backsplash of pseudo-”mother-of-pearl” mosiac tiles. Now they create dinners in style!

Whew! Seems like I just got this completed, but its been over 2 months now. They are, hopefully, enjoying this completely redone space. We tore out the tub, and replaced it with the oversized shower, added a standing linen closet, and a small one on the counter tops. We then infused the whole area with spa features, like double shower heads and the Delta Infiniti dual shower head (stationery and hand-held). Topped it off with travertine and a spa color and Wow!
